How long will Invisalign take to work?
Once we have conducted an assessment you will be given a clear indication of which of the Invisalign parameters you fall under;
Invisalign lite is 14 aligners if worn and changed every two weeks, it is approximately 28 weeks of treatment.

Can I eat with my aligners in?
You are not able to eat while you have your aligners in. As first the food will get trapped in the aligner creating a lot of mess and potential cavities.
You should always remove and store in the case provided before you eat, when you have finished eating you brush your teeth and put your aligners in.

You are allowed to drink plain cold water with your aligners in.
If you are drinking anything other than water you should remove your aligners, store them in their case and then, brush your teeth before you put them back in.
What are the do’s and don’ts with Invisalign?
Don’ts:
You cannot eat with your aligners in.
You shouldn’t be leaving your aligners out longer than 2 hours if you want to align your teeth.
You don’t put your aligners back in after eating, without brushing your teeth first.
Don’t use denture cleaning tablets or anything other than what you are given or recommended to clean your aligners with.
Don’t put your aligners in a tissue/napkin or in your pocket, you will loose them. Always put the back in the case provided.
Do’s:
Drink plain water.
Always continue seeing your general dentist throughout treatment for examinations.
You need to follow the instructions, of 22 hours a day wear. This will ensure the movement has been achieved before changing into your new aligner.
Brush your teeth after eating and drinking anything other than water.
